LeBron Raymone James Sr. (born December 30, 1984) was an American professional basketball player for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). James has won two Olympic gold medals and won four NBA championships. James had more points than any other player during the playoffs. James was born in Akron Ohio, played basketball at St. Vincent-St. Mary High School. He was praised by the national press as a possible NBA superstar. James was selected by Cleveland Cavaliers as the top pick of the NBA draft in 2003. He was selected as one of the NBA rookie of the year in 2004. Then he was one of the most elite athletes of the NBA and was awarded the NBA MVP Award both the years 2009 and 2010. James, who was unable to be crowned the champion in Cleveland in 2010, left as free agent, and then joined the Miami Heat. This was made clear within The Decision.
