Catherine Tate measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe and bra size
Catherine Ford, born in Bloomsbury (London), was raised by her mother, her grandmother, and her godparents. Her father was absent from her family. When she was a girl, Ford was battling obsessive/compulsive disorders and anxiety caused by word associations. Ford's interest in acting began when she was young. She joined at the National Youth Theatre. Ford was accepted to Sylvia Young Theatre School but after a week, she decided that she was not a fit. Ford rather applied to the Central School of Speech and Drama and was able to secure a place on her fourth application. A classmate of hers included Shaun Dingwall, who would later have a recurring role in the role of Pete Tyler in Doctor Who. Ford did not graduate in 1993. However, in 1991, Ford had made her first appearance on TV in an episode of Surgical Spirit. At that moment, Ford adopted the stage name Catherine Tate. Tate was featured in a variety of television programmes like The Bill, Men Behaving Badly as well as London's Burning in the Nineties. Alongside her usual theatre work, Tate joined the Royal Shakespeare Company in 2000-2001. Tate gained recognition as a stand-up comedian and was added to her portfolio in 1996.
