Lizzo

LizzoLizzo was a member of a prog-rock group, in which she sang and played the flute. Her family had relocated to Denver and she was all on the road on her own, trying to make a name for herself in Houston. Lizzo lived in her car she sometimes slept on the floors of her recording studio and showering in the gym. When Lizzo was twenty, her father passed away. It was a tragic loss for the two of them, as they were very close. After the death of her father Lizzo walked away from the prog-rock group in 2010. Following a brief stint in Denver in the year 2010, Lizzo moved to Minneapolis on the advice of a friend in 2011. In the next few months, she was part of the city's music scene. She was part of the girls' group Chalice and GRRRL PRTY. Her debut album Lizzobangers was released in 2013 on an independent label.
