Emily VanCamp
Emily VanCamp (Canadian actress) is known for her collaborations alongside the producer Greg Berlanti. Emily VanCamp first came to fame for her work on director Greg Berlanti, who cast her as a regular in The WB drama Everwood (2002-2006) as well as The ABC show Brothers & Sisters (2007-2010). VanCamp was further recognized for playing the lead character of Emily Thorne on the ABC show Revenge from 2011 to 2015. From the year 2018 until 2021, VanCamp appeared on The Resident, a Fox medical drama series The Resident. VanCamp is also Sharon Carter / Agent 13 / Power Broker on The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), appearing in the films Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) and Captain America: Civil War (2016), as well as in the 2021 Disney+ series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and What If ...? The year was 1998 and VanCamp became interested in acting when she visited her sister Katie working on the movie Ladies Room. She started taking acting classes during the week on a Saturday, contacted an agent and, after working on a few commercials, was hired to play the second episode of an episode that was a three-part special from the Canadian children's anthology series Are You Afraid of the Dark? The episode titled "The Silver Sight" VanCamp starred as Elisha Curthbert who was 17 at the time. VanCamp performed a role as a character who was only present for an entire scene, but didn't even speak.
