Alanis Morissette, who is a native of Canada was born on the 1st of June 1974, in Ottawa. Alanis can be described as the female name of Alan the name of her father's initial name. Her mother's name is Georgia and she has two brothers, Chad as well as Wade (Alanis"Twin"). When she was just 6 she started learning to play piano.
